Some of the neatest surprises of the week were the manatee visits! They really like fresh water, and most days when we would rinse our gear off, they would come right up to us and enjoy the fresh water. We all got a big kick out of them.

Chris loves those manatees, and they love him back. At one point we had as many as four manatees in our canal.

One of the nights, we went out to a seafood place. It was really good, and this is coming from someone who doesn't much like seafood.

This is the boat that I was on all week, along with three to five others. I liked this boat a lot; riding up front on the bow on the way back in after diving is truly an excellent experience.

This is just about the most perfect restaurant I can imagine. With an open-air, waterfront view, it was right next to our boats' docks - and it served some great food to boot.
